Cindy Friend has been an interior designer - specializing in residential construction - since 1989. With a natural affinity for design, backed by schooling at IPFW, Cindy quickly obtained success in the industry. 1991 saw the beginning of an impressive list of accomplishments in the Parade of Homes. As a designer in both the Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana Parade of Homes, Cindy has earned five 1st Place finishes, four 2nd Place finishes and two People's Choice Awards for her work. In addition to the Parade of Homes, Cindy also received the People's Choice Award for her work on the Fort Wayne Designer Show House in 1996.
For the first nine years of her career, Cindy worked as a free-lance interior designer. During this period she contracted with both homeowner and homebuilders to design homes priced from $200,000 - $1.7 million. Since 1999, as a co-owner of Cedar Creek Homes, she has limited the new construction portion of her design practice exclusively to Cedar Creek clients.
